Worth it

A free upgrade to something you may already use. Open Settings, then Voice, and try a new voice.

What it does

ChatGPT's talk-out-loud mode got a new model, GPT-Live-1.1, with more natural accents across languages and new voices, including French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Mexican Spanish options. It can listen while it talks, so you can interrupt it like a person.

Who it's for

Anyone who talks to ChatGPT instead of typing: on walks, in the car, or practicing another language.

Pricing

Included in ChatGPT. Free gets limited use of GPT-Live-1.1 Quip (the smaller version). Go gets 3 hours a day of Quip. Plus gets 3 hours a day of the full GPT-Live-1.1. It's still rolling out, and the voices you see may vary by region.
